When painting this piece, I knew the color palate that I wanted to use, and I knew that I wanted it to be an abstract piece. I can definitely say its one of my favorites! I love how the background leaves enough room for the viewers’ own interpretation. Is it winter? Is there a storm brewing with rain in the distance? Are they left behind the rest of the herd or leading the herd? Are they just playing?
