Over the years I’ve been lucky enough to train some beautiful and intelligent horses of various breeds. Draft horses have been amongst those breeds as well as warmbloods. They may have big bodies but are truly gentle giants with some of the most “Puppy dog” type personalities. I love the warm colors in this painting along with the slightly warped aspect ratio of his body while he rounds the top of his lunging circle.
